“2023 Google Pixel 8: Images Leak High-End Phone with Unexpectedly Compact Design”

Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro Leaked

Google’s upcoming Pixel products, the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro, have been making headlines two months ahead of their expected first official showing at the I/O developer conference. Steve Hemmerstoffer’s @OnLeaks, in collaboration with MySmartPrice, leaked renders of the phones that are hard to contest as he has an excellent track record.

Familiar but New Design

The 5.8-inch Pixel 8 is a refined version of its predecessor, the Pixel 7, with rounded corners, razor-thin screen bezels, and the same old premium construction of a metal frame with a shiny glass back. However, a few notable changes make it distinct from the 2022’s pure Google powerhouse that the Pixel 7 was. Its dimensions are tipped at 150.5 x 70.8 x 8.9mm, which makes it an unusually compact high-end phone by 2023 standards. The Pixel 8 Pro has a larger screen with a telephoto shooter but the non-pro version’s camera visor continues to house only two imaging sensors and an LED flash.

Speculations on Pixel 8 Specs

The nothing more than word-of-mouth upgrades for the Pixel 8 primary camera and third-gen Google Tensor processor, which will likely run the raw power show inside both the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro, are almost etched in stone. However, there is a possibility that the Pixel 8 Ultra model and Pixel Fold might also receive Tensor G2 processors. The non-Pro model is unlikely to go beyond Full HD+mark for the screen resolution, but it is hoped that the refresh rate will match the Pixel 7 Pro’s high 120Hz support. The base model is expected to have 8GB of RAM.
