Apple Unveils New Yellow iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus Variants
Apple has recently announced new yellow color options for iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus models. This bold and vibrant color brings the total color options to six, including midnight, starlight, (PRODUCT)RED, blue, purple, and yellow. The announcement of the yellow color option is surprising, given that a recent poll showed that only 4% of users preferred this color for the iPhone 13 lineup.

Apple’s decision to add a new and bold color option brings up the question of whether or not consumers prefer brighter and more playful colors for their smartphones. Additionally, the fact that most users cover their phones with protective cases that hide the phone’s color raises the question of whether or not the color is truly important or a dealbreaker for users.
Last year’s Deep Purple color option for the iPhone 13 lineup was a hit among users, with 14% of the votes in the aforementioned poll. However, there is still a strong preference for brighter colors. The introduction of the yellow color option could also be a sign of the changing preferences among users when it comes to smartphone colors.
