The update is already available on numerous Samsung phones, including the Galaxy S22 series and Galaxy S21 series, with more devices set to receive the update in the following weeks and months.
What’s new in Samsung One UI 5.1?
One UI 5.1 includes some new features such as gallery and camera app refinements, updated widgets, and the ability to save screenshots in a location other than your camera roll. Here are some of the significant functional updates:
Camera and Gallery Refinements
One UI 5.1 adds a shortcut to Expert RAW in the More tab of the camera app on devices that support it. Samsung’s Gallery app has also received some updates, such as facial recognition across photos for album sharing and the ability to detect objects inside photos.
