“Huawei to Unveil P60 Flagship Line, Mate X3 Foldable, and More on March 23: Rumors”

Huawei to Introduce P60 Series, Mate X3 Foldable, and Other Devices on March 23

Huawei did not announce its P60 series during MWC, but the company is making news by introducing the line along with other devices, including the Mate X3 foldable, FreeBuds 5 earbuds, Watch 4, and TalkBand B7 on March 23, according to Weibo-tipster Classmateguan (via Huawei Central).

Huawei’s Emphasis on Photography for the P60 Series

Huawei’s P-series phones are focused on photography, and the P60 series will feature several features found on last year’s flagship Mate 50 models, including the variable aperture on the primary camera (f/1.4 to f/4) and the use of the 64MP OmniVision OMB 64B image sensor. The RYYB color matrix for the telephoto camera is also returning, making photos snapped using this camera appear up to 40% brighter.

The P60 Pro’s Design and Specs

The P60 Pro is expected to have a 6.6-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 1440 x 3200 resolution. It might be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC without 5G support. The Pro model’s design will reportedly feature a 3D curved glass with ultra-thin bezels.

The Other Devices to Be Unveiled on March 23

Aside from the P60 series, other devices to be introduced on March 23 include the Mate X3, which is an inward folding handset with a rumored 2K tablet-sized display. The FreeBuds 5 are a pair of true wireless earbuds that will include active noise cancellation. The Watch 4 could become the first smartwatch to offer satellite communications for emergencies, while the TalkBand B7 is a wristband that doubles as a Bluetooth earpiece.
