Preorder the OnePlus Pad on April 10 and receive an ‘amazing gift’

OnePlus to Enter the Tablet Market with OnePlus Pad

Despite some great Android tablets available, the majority of customers still opt for brands like Samsung, Lenovo, and Amazon. Recently, OnePlus has announced its entry into the tablet market with the OnePlus Pad. Along with the OnePlus 11, the tablet was launched last month, but the company did not provide a specific release date, only announcing that preorders would begin in April. However, OnePlus has sent out an email clarifying that preorders for the OnePlus Pad will open on April 10.

Although there is no news on the shipping date, it is expected to be soon after the release of preorders, and more information should be forthcoming leading up to the April 10 launch date. Currently, the email may be restricted to specific localities or individuals subscribed to the OnePlus mailing list.

According to Portuguese site, DroidReader (via 9to5Google), some customers who received the email were notified of a great gift reserved for those who preorder the OnePlus Pad. The image posted in the email shows the OnePlus Buds Z2 with the OnePlus Pad, though it is unclear if this is included in a bundle or reserved solely for preorders.

OnePlus Pad is well-equipped to take on the competitors in the tablet market. OnePlus will launch the tablet in major international markets, including North America. The OnePlus Pad features an 11.6-inch 2800 x 2000 LCD screen with a unique 7:5 aspect ratio and a 144Hz refresh rate. Additionally, under the hood, it utilizes MediaTek’s Dimensity 9000 chipset, 8/12GB RAM, and 256/512GB storage. The tablet’s 9,510mAh battery is massive and should last for several hours. Furthermore, OnePlus has included a 67W SUPERVOOC fast charging adapter.

Hands-on reviews have noted the OnePlus Pad’s metal back provides a premium feel to the gadget, which is a good sign. However, more information about the tablet will be required as OnePlus prepares for its first-ever tablet review. The company has not yet disclosed the price of their flagship tablet.
