Samsung Galaxy A24: Full Design and Specs Revealed in Promo Renders

Samsung’s Galaxy A Series Gets a New Addition: The A24

Samsung has introduced two new phones, the A34 and A54, but that’s not all – the company is about to release the much-anticipated Galaxy A24. Promotional renders of the phone have been spotted by Gadgety, which has given us a sneak peek of the phone’s design and specs.

Design and Specs

The new Galaxy A24 has been designed to stand out from the rest, although one shouldn’t compare it with more expensive devices. Despite being one of the cheapest Samsung smartphones, it is a slight upgrade over its predecessor, the Galaxy A23. From what we know so far, the A24 will sport a large 6.5-inch full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. While this is quite unusual for an affordable phone, it certainly makes the A24 stand out in the market.

Hardware and Camera

In terms of hardware, the A24 will be equipped with a MediaTek Helio G99 processor coupled with 4GB RAM and 128GB internal memory, which can be expanded via microSD. In comparison, the Galaxy A23 comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor and offers different variations with 4/6/8GB RAM and 64/128GB storage.

As for the camera, the A24 is rumored to come with a triple camera setup, with a 50MP primary lens accompanied by 5MP and 2MP lenses. The selfie snapper comes with a better 13-megapixel camera compared to the A23, which offers an 8-megapixel front-facing camera.

Additional Features

Samsung’s Galaxy A24 will come with a 3.5mm headphone jack, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and a generous 5,000mAh battery with 25W charging support. The phone is expected to be available in black, burgundy, green, and silver. However, there’s no confirmation regarding its price and availability yet. Since the Galaxy A23 was released in the US, it is likely that the Galaxy A24 will be launched there too.
